He was raised in the hoods of Compton, California. His brother got shot while they were playing basketball. After the tragedy he trained to become a cage fighter and was the youngest ever to win the Cage fight Championship, but decided to quit after only 3 years to sign with the PWSWF. Big Black had quick success, but started off Season 3 with a terrible losing streak due to many Disqualifications for dismantling his opponents (and even being fined). Black re-acquired the World Television Championship toward the end of Season 3 and participated in the "Match Of The Season" when he defeated three other men to retain the PWSWF World Televison Title at "Tribulation".
